I would like to know how to build or to construct a marketing research questionnaire ? i would like to know the steps and all details related to post-factor analysis work in addition to fine-tuning details.
That is way too broad a subject to answer in this forum. Here are two good books that can help you with overall questionnaire construction:

The Dillman book is especially informative. There may also be some free web sites that can tell you the basics.
For a post-factor analysis refinement, the technique allows you to reduce the number of questions or items in a rating question. The items that load on the same factor are getting at the same basic issue, so you don’t need to include all of them. The standard practice is to select the 1 or 2 highest loading items to include in the final questionnaire.

I’m doing a project on wakeboarding for my New Products Management class. I need to find some marketing research Reports on waveboarding. I would appreciate some web links. Thanks.
Waveboarding? Go to your local library and ask the librarian at the business desk. Those reports should be available through a number of magazines and directories. They should also be available on line. The librarian will be able to give you the right directories to search through.
Good luck!
I have worked in marketing research for 4 yrs and understand what that entails. I am currently looking for a new position closer to home and most of the companies in my area are listed under consulting.
consulting i think is (dont quote me) when a business hires you and you give them marketing information, my dad does that with business but i guess they are the same thing, plus you can have like 3 months off and still make like 500k.

I need to write a paper on what is the better marketing research technique. Quantitative in nature or Qualitative in nature?
The paper needs to be three pages and I am at a loss so any help would really help me out. Just the pros and cons of each would be awesome.
I hate to say it but it depends on what your researching. If it is something as simple as what color car you prefer it would probably be quantitative because the answer is nice and simple. If it is something like consumer habits for middle income tweens in texas, it would probably be qualitative.
The marketing research department for a computer company used a large city to test market their new product. They found that the demand equation was p = 1296 – 0.12x^2. If the cost equation is C = 830 + 396x, find the number of units that will produce maximum profit.
Haha. That’s the given question. I don’t know anything more than that.
if u wd clarify wot d variables stand for,
then only wd i b able 2 answer…
