Archive for the 'best keyword' Category
You need to be sure your keywords are optimized for the content on your site.
Be sure that you have all the meta tags set, try to make them match the keywords, and your content should match those keywords also.
So lets say your title is "Optimize your website"
and you have a description of
"Learn how to optimize your website to obtain top listings in all search engines. We give you the tools to get in the top 10 searchs by optimizing your web pages."
You then need to create keywords that would match that, and keyword phrases..
How do you know what keywords might be best, you can do a search for words or phrases that you would like to be found under, look at the meta tags of the top 10 listed sites, you can do that by going to the web page going to the view then source, look at the meta tags at the top.
Another thing to do, create new content on a regular basis, articles, blog, etc.
Submit to search engines, one tool I used to use alot was free
http://www.addme.com
will submit to other search engines.
If you write articles, or tips etc, then you can also help folks here and create links to your articles so.. someone like you asking.. this question, if I created articles and had a website, I could say and if you need more help or want more info, you can check out my articles and help on my web site. This creates links from heavy hitter webpages like Yahoo, and that helps your traffic and ranking.
So I also recomend starting a link trade page, and there are some online programs for that, basically you want one that takes care of monitoring if someone is still linking to you or not, and will not create the link until both parties have the link pointing to the other page on their link page.
Always put meta tags and titles on all of your pages
Do not repeat over and over keywords in the keyword meta tag, but do try to get those keyword phrases and words in your content.

Another site to check out is
www.alexa.com
The last thing that I can say is that, it is a time consuming job.. takes some time, and work if you are not looking to pay tons of money. You can do it, I had one site that was ranked higher than yahoo.ca on alexa.com at one point, under 90k. This was about 4 years ago.
Hope this helps some, there is tons of info and tools out there to use. If you want instant traffic and do not mind spending a little money, then you can use yahoo ads and google ads to pay per click on targeted searches.
A good thing to think of on this, is think of your top competitor that you want to take traffic from.. so lets say you just made a brand new vacume and the name is not known, and you want to start getting sales.. you could think of top names, matter of fact find out what the top name searched for is for vacumes, and lets say its Kirby, so you would create keywords that are top searches for Kirby vacumes, find out what folks are paying per click and bid above them so you are the top spot ad for those keyword searches, now your ad is competing for searches on your competition name, and since your name is not know you still come up in front of what folks are looking for… a vacume, sure it may be a kirby, but you still might get some sales from your ad, as folks are usually researching.
Again hope this helps, lots of info here..
P.S the site I did and store I ran was..
www.umbrellapets.com grin some third party took the name and is holding it since I did not renew the name, when I went to see how much they were asking to get the domain back as there were new owners of the store, they were asking thousands for the domain name. So the new owners created their new domain under www.umbrellapetservices.ca Store is in Canada.

This will depend on the position you are looking for. For instance, if you are a secretary, you will not have the word engineer on your resume (unless you worked for an engineering firm). Do not worry about the adjectives as much as the description.

Try to pinpoint your duties as much as possible. I would go out and look at what positions are being advertised (in your field) and look at the descriptions there. Use as many keywords in the descriptions as you can fit on your resume.
what free software is available to see which keywords have the most hits every month?
None that I know of but the best thing would be to do a web search and see what hits you end up with, their could be a couple of sites.!!!
i want to make adwords but no idea of what keyword and how my ad going to be. do someone help me out please.. my website www.thinkwhite.com
Three steps to building an effective keyword list
1. When creating your list, think like a customer. What terms would your customers use to describe your products or services? Once you’ve generated some appropriate keywords, expand your list to include as many relevant variations as possible. Add alternate spellings (e.g. light, lite), plurals, and synonyms. To help you brainstorm, use our Keyword Tool.
2. Refine (or ’scrub’) keywords that may be too broad or irrelevant. Using words that are too broad can generate many ad impressions but few clicks. To avoid this, get rid of generic terms that could relate to a wide spectrum of products or services. Add descriptive language to make your keywords more specific. For instance, using the generic keyword bags to describe luggage goods could generate impressions for irrelevant search queries such as tea bags and vacuum bags. Making your keywords relevant to your goods or services helps you receive more qualified clicks.
3. Target your keywords by using keyword matching options. You can choose four different keyword matching options to target your ads to users: broad, phrase, exact, or negative match. With some options, you’ll receive more ad impressions; with others, you’ll get fewer impressions but potentially more clicks. By applying more focused matching options to your keywords, you can reach the most appropriate prospects, reduce your cost-per-click (CPC), and increase your ROI.

I’ve exported keywords (3000) and visits against those keywords. I’m also assuming I don’t need to do anything with that before creating a graph.
you can sort in order and then just show the top ten, but dont try and show all 3000, it will be impossible to understand.
My main keyword is adsense.which keyword will be best ?
Interesting question with alot of different answers. First it depends on who you think your audience is then you need to ask yourself how this audience is going to use your product or service. Then pretend you are them and write a few search terms on a piece of paper as if you were a customer looking for your product on the internet. Ok, that is just the very beginning, now we have to talk about google quoted results and SEO competition. That is the research part and can get very involved; but I’ll tell you with the right keywords your website can own google. If you are interested and want to know more, check out the link in my resource box. Good luck!
I usually put keyword, description then title but i hear you should put title first for best search results?
The order of that meta tags doesn’t have any rules nider Google asks for some order. The only important thing is that those 3 tags shall be in head section.
