i tried inventory.overture.com &

wordtracker.com (trial version)

the results are not matching for a particular key word overture gives 1million searches at the same time word tracker says with in 3000 only

which is a real one ? if any body have experience please help me?

the reason the results are different is because each tool is using data from a different search engine. overture pulls its data from yahoo. the free trial of wordtracker gets its info from msn.

if you buy wordtracker, you’ll be able to get data from all the major search engines in one place, which is pretty nice. you’ll also get way more keyword suggestions and information. it’s kinda expensive, but you can buy it for a week for only about 30 bucks.

also google adwords has something similar (and free) you may wanna check out: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

To use the bid simulator for your keywords, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your AdWords account at adwords.google.com.
2. Navigate to the Keywords tab.
3. In the Max. CPC column, click the bid simulator icon Bid simulator, icon next to the bid.

I know you can only post up to 50 keyword phrases per ad group in adwords adgroups, but is there a way to add keywords and adgroups faster? I have thousands of keywords and hundreds of ad groups and it’s taken 6 hours today just to add 2,500 keywords and 50 ad groups.

Is there software or special way to speed up the process with the adwords panel?

You are in luck, there is software developed by Google for this very purpose, it works great, and it is free!

The Adwords Editor software is an absolute essential if you are going to be managing a large account or multiple accounts. I manage over a dozen accounts and wouldn’t be able to do it without the editor. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but not much, and once you get past it this tool will save you an incredible amount of time.

Some of the features include:

- Store your account (Don’t have to worry about losing work)
- Use to manage multiple accounts
- Add keywords, ads, ad groups, etc. in bulk
- Export to spreadsheet
- Make fast edits in Excel
- Literally just copy and paste from campaign to campaign
- Import Campaigns, Adgroups, or even entire Accounts
- Advanced search
- Add comments as you make changes
- Sortable performance statistics

It is totally free and works great although it takes a little bit of time to learn to use. Google does free web training every now and then – you can sign up to be notified of their schedule here: http://adwordsagency.blogspot.com/

There is also an Adwords Editor Guide here: http://www.google.com/intl/en/adwordseditor/AdWordsEditorGuide.pdf

Best Regards!
Eric

I’ve been working in marketing research for a few years now. Was wondering if I should take up a specialised role as head of consumer research/insights or a general brand management role overseeing all the marketing comms?

Both offer good scope but I was wondering what would be a better decision in the long run.

Many thanks for your feedback!

I am bidding on a job online where I have to write 10 articles on a certain topic, between 350-500 words and with a keyword density of about 3-5% .

I am not sure how much to ask for this. This is the first time I am doing this and I do not want to charge too hight and lose the job or too low which will not be fair to me.

any advice please

look the link,i think it has some helpfully knowledge

I’m looking at Word Tracker and Keyword Discovery. Anyone think one is better than the other? Any others that might be better for the cost?

Wordtracker is the best, and is the one I use.

If you want a general idea of what keywords to use, you can use the keyword tool in Google AdWords. It’s free and not really that extensive, but it will give you an idea of what people are searching for, as well as related search terms.
